Your tasks:
- You research and evaluate suitable machine learning methods through independent study, and develop state-of-the art machine learning models that are applied to NLP tasks, recommendation systems, etc.
- The implementation of LLM workflows, as well as the benchmarking of their performance using various testing techniques, will be part of your tasks.
- You assist in designing ML pipelines, from data pre-processing and model selection, to model evaluation and hyperparameter tuning.
- Your work will impact how we design our data processing pipelines in respect to data security and privacy regulations.
- The results made through your contributions should be communicated clearly to stakeholders and documented for colleagues.
Your qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker, as well as hands-on experience on Linux and Bash.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL. Experience with frameworks and tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of data security protocols, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR), and best practices for managing sensitive and confidential data securely.
- Know-how of large language models (LLMs), including implementation, testing, and performance benchmarking, is a plus.

We offer a gross annual salary in line with the market starting at EUR 50,000 per year. An overpayment according to actual qualifications and experience is possible.
