Your tasks:

  • Development Environment Expertise: Collaborate with the Core Development team to set up and support the Development Environment for our Media Gateway Product, including seamless integration of third-party software. 
  • Full Development Chain Impact: Drive enhancements across the entire development lifecycle, focusing on delivering cutting-edge security features for the Media Gateway. 
  • Problem Solver Extraordinaire: Analyze customer challenges and ensure effective resolution in close collaboration with our Product Support team. 
  • Sustainable Innovation: Contribute to the long-term support and continuous improvement of Kontron’s Media Gateway Product. 
  • Code Detective: Dive into legacy software with confidence, employing code browsing, exploration, and reverse engineering.

 

Your qualifications and skills:

  • A solid technical background in information and communication technologies (HTL, FH/Uni)
  • Expertise in telecommunication networks (2G, 3G, 4G), with hands-on experience in protocols like SIP and Megaco/H.248
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++, particularly in Linux environments
  • Proficiency in Shell scripting and/or Python; experience with VxWorks is a plus
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, to excel in an international team.

We offer a gross annual salary in line with the market starting at EUR 55,000 per year. An overpayment according to actual qualifications and experience is possible.
