Kontron’s ME and RS product families are built to run complex applications in extreme temperatures or challenging environments. The Mobile Edge (ME) series cabinet servers can be rack mounted in a base station or encased on the tower. The ruggedized server (RS) is ideal for wall or pole mounting.

Kontron’s Far Edge servers are unique in the market as the ME and RS servers integrate multiple HW requirements into a very robust, wide temperature (-40°C to +65°C) platform. By bringing separate HW entities into a single unit which operates in a wide temp environment, OPEX and TCO is reduced through less requirements for AC/heat, cabling, reduction of multiple failure points, complexity of deployment and space required for deployment.
