JUMPtec® offers COM-HPC Client Size C now based on Intel® Core™ Processors (Series 2)

High-performance, socketed COM-HPC module for real-time applications in medical imaging, networking, and industrial automation

Deggendorf, Germany, March 20, 2025 - JUMPtec, a leading innovator in Computer-on-Modules technology and subsidiary of Kontron, introduces the COM-HPC Client Size C modules with support for the Intel^® Core™ Processors Series 2 (codename Bartlett Lake S). Previously available with 12th, 13th Gen and Series 1 & 2 Intel^® Core™ processors, the new COM-HPC module now benefits from Intel’s enhanced hybrid architecture.

The new COM-HPC Client (120x160 mm) is equipped without CPU (socketed). Thanks to the socketed Intel^® hybrid processors now with Intel_® Core Processors (Series 2) exceptionally high multi-thread performance can be achieved with 4 additional Efficient-cores in the Intel^® Core™ 7 processor, with up to 24 cores/32 threads total (8P+16E). Its increased single P-core turbo frequency up to 6GHz enables analysis of high volumes of data and faster results.

The extensive I/O and memory of the Intel^® Core™ Processors (Series 2) helps to connect more accelerators, peripherals, and sensors: up to 16x PCIe 5.0 and 4x PCIe 4.0 lanes on the CPU and up to 12x PCIe 4.0 and 16x PCIe 3.0 lanes off PCH. The maximum capacity is 128GB. These features support a wide range of use cases across industries.

The new processor is well suited for high performance real-time applications such as medical imaging, test and measurement, communications and networking, and other applications that constantly require maximum performance. In all cases, extended product lifecycles are available with up to 10 years of availability.
