COBALT™ 901 with MIL-STD-1553
Building on the baseline COBALT™ 901, the COBALT™ 901 with MIL-STD-1553 adds a dual channel redundant MIL-STD-1553 interface and an integrated Gigabit Ethernet L2 switch to form a powerful airborne mission computer. With its powerful Intel® 6th Generation Quad-Core™ Xeon® E3-1505L 1.7 GHz processor featuring an integrated high performance Intel® HD Graphics processor, the COBALT™ 901 with MIL-STD-1553 is an ideal platform for military aviation applications ranging from data-intensive electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR), advanced voice, video, and data link processing (i.e. Link 16) and the latest situational awareness applications. Its compact, energy efficient, fanless design makes it a flexible platform for space, weight, and power (SWaP) constrained deployed environments, and its expansion options, including two removable solid state drive (RSSD) bays and internal I/O expansion slots means that the COBALT™ 901 with MIL-STD-1553 can be easily tailored to meet specific mission requirements.
