The SMARC module SMARC-sAMX8 based NXP i.MX8 processors extends Kontron’s portfolio of modules. The SMARC-sAMX8 is a high performance compute module designed for applications requiring extensive graphics processing. The Freescale / NXP Multi-core 32 and 64 bit ARM processors have the embedded hardware IP blocks for vision systems, as well as the processing power and interfaces needed. Offered in four quad core options: Three pin compatible, scalable SKUs and one custom SMARC pinout SKU (-1 LVDS interface, + 3 SPI interface + 1 CAN interface).
