At the field, or edge level, data is collected by industrial computers, e.g. by gateways, which process, filter, analyze and act on these data in real-time right at the device.

Edge, fog and cloud applications demand increasing computing power. The interfaces to sensors or machines often require non-standard solutions. Especially in smaller machines, space is limited or restricted in some dimension and need a special solution.

Today, the connection from the sensor device to the embedded cloud takes place via real-time data communication, on sensor and edge level - for example Industrial Ethernet or fieldbuses - and gateways , which provide the transformation of real time data into the informational area.

The Extended Lifecycle Motherboard K3843-B μATX is equipped with the Intel® B660 business chipset and supports the latest Intel® Core™ i9/i7/i5/i3 processors (12th/13th/14th Gen.) and the Intel® Pentium®/Intel® Celeron® processor series. It offers high connectivity with 4x DisplayPort, 4x PCI Express Gen5, 2x M.2, 4x USB 3.2 (Gen1/Gen2) and 1x COM. In addition, the K3843-B µATX has an integrated TPM 2.0 onboard to support Windows 11. It is designed and approved for 24/7 continuous operation.
