Das COM Express® compact Computer-on-Modul COMe-cDC2 integriert die 45 nm Performance-Generation der Intel® Atom™ N270 Prozessoren mit 1,6 GHz und den Intel® 945GSE / ICH7M Chipsatz auf ein kompaktes 95 x 95 mm Modul.
Kontrons hocheffizienter Power-off Status S5 Eco bietet ACPI Funktionen bei niedrigstem Stromverbrauch im Soft-off Status – weniger als 1 mA. Im Vergleich zum regulären S5 Status bedeutet das eine Reduktion um mindestens Faktor 200! Die Betriebsdauer mit Batterie wird signifikant erhöht.
Wie alle COM Express compact Module von Kontron ist auch dieses Modul COM Express® compact konform und COM Express® basic kompatibel. Somit lässt sich dieses Modul auch in Carrierboards implementieren, die für COM Express® basic ausgelegt sind. Das macht den Wechsel einfach und reduziert den Integrationsaufwand auf ein Minimum.
